Sometimes cars that are features in the movies are special custom versions which we will struggle to find on used car forecourts, like the Tumbler from the recent Dark Knight film, although some dedicated metal workers have built their own version in their...(read more)

  9. Peter Pan ... Which (animated) movie am I thinking about?

    August 27, 2010, 8:42 pm
There's more than one animated Peter Pan movie. I watched this one in elementary class. I know that it's NOT the 1953 Disney version, because the movie is watchable on YouTube, and the things that happened in the elementary-school movie were different. Here were some things I remember about the movie. I haven't seen it in over 12 years, so I could be wrong about some things. - Peter gives Wendy some kind of button... later, Tinkerbell tells one of the lost boys to shoot an arrow at Wendy.. That is the only thing that gets shot at her, (In the 1953 version, a whole bunch of sticks and stones were thrown.)... Anyway, Wendy gets hit, but she survives because of the button. The button shielded her chest from the arrow. - I could be wrong about this, but my memory tells me that Captain Hook's first name in the movie is CHESTER... (In the 1953 version, his name is James.). - When Peter is "haunting" the pirates with his voice-disguising technique, Hook asks who's there, and Peter answers "Captain ______ Hook"... and a moment later, the captain realizes: "Wait a minute. I'M Captain Hook!" - Captain Hook tries to poison Wendy by (anonymously) sending her a cake, which has been tampered with... The cake says "To Wendy, from Neverland". She cuts the cake, and is about to take a bite, but Tinkerbell shows up and snatches the cake. She proves that the cake is poison by throwing it into a plant, which immediately dies. Does anybody know what year this movie was released? . . poofehair - - - - - - - - Return to Neverland is the sequel to the 1953 version... so his name is not Chester.... Plus, in Return to Neverland, the girl's name is Jane. In the movie that I'm thinking about, the girl's name was definitely Wendy. .
